Land Clearing
Got Wildlife?® takes pride in working with developers to properly manage wildlife affected by land clearing and other forms of modification to wildlife habitats. The core values of our process/program are based on Steve Irwins’ not for profit, Wildlife Warriors, Code of Practice for Welfare of Wildlife Animals Affected by Land Clearing or other Habitat Impacts. This code of practice emphasizes the following as it relates to all parties involved (both the developer and the Wildlife Control Operator):
- Take all reasonable steps necessary to prevent cruelty and/or suffering to animals
- Minimize the loss of wildlife caused directly or indirectly by development or land clearing
- Conserve, as much as possible, the econological values of development sites and their surrounding natural environment.
